Philadelphia Zoo, Philadelphia, PA September 2015 - Present Corporate Grants Manager

 Identify, research, and evaluate new, existing foundation and corporate grant opportunities for capital campaign, general operating support and restricted programs.

 Manage a portfolio of foundation and corporate grants, including responsibility for meeting or exceeding the annual fund raising goal.

 Manage Corporate Partners Program—servicing current partners, securing renewals, and developing new business.

 Manage Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.

 Develop new programs to reach, cultivate, secure new donors, and drive awareness of our mission within the 30-45 year old demographic.

 Establish relationships with local companies to develop potential revenue through mission based sponsorships.

 Develop proposals, which are within the Zoo’s mission and strategy and have clearly identified delivery capacity and agreed upon budgets.

 Lead prospects through all stages of solicitation process.

 Participate in development of expense and revenue budgets for Foundations

 Work with board of directors, committee members and various Zoo departments to generate support from foundations and corporations.
