Featured Speaker: Zakiya Fatin is a reverend, coach, mentor, inspirational influencer, and mother. Zakiya founded Zakiya Fatin Enterprises, where she supports individuals to “live their lives unapologetically on the stage of their world.” Through ZFE she has conducted numerous workshops including Project Move and Activate Your Champion. She is also in charge of several annual charity drives and giveaways conducted during the holiday season in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania As a single mother who lost everything at a very young age, Zakiya understands the importance of the effects our personal lives have on our children. She is able to use her story and triumph over arduous times to uplift others.
Zakiya facilitates an Annual Mother-Daughter workshop, where mothers are able to shed light on situations and circumstances and daughters are able to shed light on the effects those situations have had on them. This workshop creates opportunities for healing, understanding and an unbreakable bond between mother and daughter She will be facilitating the first of many Father and son workshops this coming year.
With every workshop Zakiya creates, she provides skills and tools which allow every participant to move through, to, or from their current life experiences. She believes that every life has a purpose, and every voice matters. If you are ready to choose YOU and give voice to your innermost desires, calling them forth into manifestation…now is the time! Resident Speaker: Ky'sha Woods's smile is infectious because of her deep love for people and assist them in being there best they can be started from the inside. Ky'sha is a freelance celebrity hairstylist/ makeup artist and former educator for “Wella International”. Ms.Woods retain her cosmetology teacher license from“Joseph Donahue School of International Barber/Beauty” and have a multitude of specialty certifications in many facets of beauty culture.
Her work has has been featured in publications, television, film, magazines, and runways. Ms. Woods’s provides entrepreneurship and technical workshops to educate other beauty professionals. Ky’sha’s is a business owner and her professional beauty demographic is diverse and encompasses all hair types, textures and beauty services.
Being a beauty architect, and visionary requires her to be in demand both behind and in front of the scene of productions. Ky'sha produced and hosted her own TV series “Be with Kysha Woods ” Which aired on Comcast/ Version fio’s” and at the same time her terrestrial radio show “Be with Ky’sha Woods” aired on historic 1340 WHAT Radio. She remains on the cutting edge of media she has newly started a podcast.
